PORTRAITS OF WOMEN IN SKALL
At Skall Studio we admire women and pay tribute to diversity. Diversity not only enables us to learn from each other and mirror ourselves in others. When we contribute with our personality and unique qualities it also makes us stronger together. We are women designing clothes to women and we love when clothes make you notice a woman before noticing what she is wearing. By introducing Skall Portraits we wish to emphasize that diversity is a strength. At the same time, we want to show you some of the women who inspire us – and who will hopefully inspire you as well.

SKALL PORTRAIT NO. 2
You may not know that “I spend most of my spare time making patchwork blankets. I gained an interest in patchwork while I was living in New York and bought a quilt in a flea market. After that I started to sew myself, and to begin with I made a lot of mistakes as I had no clue how to do. I always use leftover fabric such as old sheets, bedding and secondhand clothes. To sew gives me an inner peace and I often bring it along when working.”
SKALL PORTRAIT NO. 1
You may not know that “I grew up in a large sibling group of 6 children, of which I am the oldest. Despite the fact that we all work with different subjects, we share a passion for good craftsmanship, materials and the urge to use our hands to create.”
