CVV (Card Verification Value)
If you pay by credit card, you will be asked to enter the card’s security code. You’ll find the three-digit CVV security code on the back of your credit card – usually on the right-hand side. This security code is necessary for the payment to be processed, and in order to maintain a high level of security. There may also be other, similar, security measures.

SCA – Strong Customer Authentication
For customers within the European Economic Area (EEA), your payment will involve SCA – Strong Customer Authentication, which is in line with the revised EU Payment Services Directive (PSD2).

SCA is similar to what many people refer to as two-factor authentication: If you make purchases online with your debit or credit card, SCA may require you to use two different forms of authentication. As an example, instead of simply entering your PIN or password, in Strong Customer Authentication the customer is asked to enter a code generated on their bank app as a second step. For many people in Denmark, the second step will be to identify themselves via MitID. This makes it harder for fraudulent transactions to occur, and means you can shop more securely. This protects both us and you: if there are fewer fraudulent charges, it is good for everyone.
